Overview

A small UFO, modeled after the purported UFOs of the 50s, slowly floating through and weirdly cloaked in darkness, armed with a piercing laser cannon on it's underside.

Strategy

If you thought that Arabian Swordsmaster was a pushover, well, to quote Canadian rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, "you ain't seen nothin' yet".

This UFO serves as a mediocre backliner/support unit on low magnifications, and can easily be clubbed out with Swimmer. However, on higher magnifications, it's a different story.
This nasty saucer can randomly zap your stacks and units into oblivion, dealing up to 105000 damage at UL magnifications (1000%). And don't think about exploiting it's blindspot, because it's only small enough to house an Eraser or any similarly sized units. And that's only without any additional support. Sure, on it's own, you can stall it due to it's long TBA. But when it's supporting a boss, it ups the difficulty noticeably. So while you're trying to kill the main boss, Adamski Scout is tucked away in the back, zapping your units to death and freeing the way for the boss to waltz on through. And due to it's position and somewhat bulky health, it's quite hard to snipe and kill reliably.

On it's own, even at high magnifications, you can, again, easily slap it with Fishman or Bullet Train, while stalling it with Manic Eraser or a similarly quick meatshield.
When it's supporting a boss or waves of enemies, your best bet is to deal with the main threat while sniping Adamski Scout, and using any possible openings to try and quickly kill that god-forsaken UFO, at the risk of your cats running into Adamski Scout's range and facing their doom. Even when the savage blow doesn't trigger, it's still painful.
This UFO is like a Floating traited Le'Boin, but worse.

Simply put, the main threat/boss should be priority no. 1, while Adamski Scout should be priority no. 2.

Lucifer Scout Smol.png Lucifer Scout Aku variant. Has much more terrifying stats, with it covering up it's
small blindspot and boasting much more health and damage but longer TBA

Trivia

  • Adamski Scout takes it's name from famous purported Ufologist George Adamski, while it's appearance is somewhat influenced by his highly debatable "chicken brooder" UFO picture, along with various UFOs from Japanese pop culture.
  • Adamski Scout actually originates from The Card Game, a currently in-development card game where I'm the artist.
    • Due to this, I manage to "accidentally" make a giant UFO army hierarchy through traited variants and classes/ranks.
