Overview
A towering shrimp boxer, hunched over and equipped with boxing gloves. They wiggle their frills when it delivers their quick upper cut. Based upon the mantis shrimp, which are known for their rapid punches that boil the surrounding water from their sheer speed, which is translated here with El Manta's savage blow ability.
Strategy
This guy would be a good tank, but... Courier appears.
El Manta shouldn't be too threatening. Sure, when it lands it's savage blow, it hurts, and it can push, especially if there's multiple and especially if you're unlucky with the savage blow procs, but due to the fact that it's red, it should be quite easy. In early game, you should tank this guy with units like Fish or Titan, or quickly chip it's health down with Axe or Cow. In late game, freeze it with iCat and then go to town on it with Courier, Can Can or other similar red destroyers. Or, alternatively, tank it with Roe and normal/Manic/Li'l Islands. But, c'mon, which method do you truly prefer?
Essentially, treat El Manta as a One Horn that trades more speed and savage blow for longer TBA.
